AMES ZORA – RADIOLOGICAL EARLY WARNING SYSTEM

AMES ZORA EWS is an advanced radiological early warning system designed to provide real-time data, automatic alerts, and decision-making support for environmental and civil protection authorities. Developed and manufactured by AMES d.o.o., the system ensures high reliability, easy deployment, and seamless integration into national and international networks.

Core Components

DGS223 Gamma Probe

Dual energy-compensated H*(10) GM tubes ensure precise and stable dose-rate measurements from 10 nSv/h up to 10 Sv/h. The probe is calibrated in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory and designed for continuous outdoor operation. Measurement linearity better than ±7%, full temperature range −40°C to +65°C, IP65 fiberglass housing.

SPA170L Data Logger

Compact, low-power data acquisition unit capable of integrating multiple sensors (radiological, meteorological, environmental). Equipped with RS232, RS485, GSM/LTE, Iridium satellite, Bluetooth, and Ethernet interfaces. Internal 16 GB memory with SD expansion, integrated QA/QC logic, and secure data communication via secure protocols.

All-In-One Smart Weather Sensor

All-in-one compact sensor measuring wind speed and direction, air temperature, humidity, pressure, and precipitation. Ultrasonic and radar-based measurement technologies ensure accuracy even in harsh conditions. Operating range −50°C to +60°C, IP66 protection, low maintenance design.

eEMIS Cloud Platform

Web-based software for real-time visualization, analysis, and data storage. Provides interactive dashboards, alarm management, and automatic reports. Accessible 24/7 from any device with an internet connection, offering high system redundancy and secure data handling.

Local Control & Visualization

AMES ZORA EWS also includes both mobile and desktop applications that allow users to visualize measurements, configure devices, and check system diagnostics directly on-site. The AMES Commander and AMES Commander Mobile applications ensure complete local control — from sensor setup and verification to real-time dose rate monitoring — all through a user-friendly interface.

System Overview

The AMES ZORA EWS integrates all components into a complete monitoring solution. Each field station operates autonomously with solar or AC power supply and transmits data through secure communication channels. Central servers running eEMIS collect and process data from all stations, providing users with real-time insight and automated early warnings.
